In 2022, I found myself at my kitchen table, frustrated & overwhelmed. Earlier that day, I posted a video about dysphoria while dealing with a UTI, using the word pussy to describe MY body. It was a word I’d only recently started reclaiming, but one that felt powerful & true to me.

The response was mostly positive. People thanked me for being honest & for saying the things we don’t always say out loud. But then there was THAT comment: “Your IG is not a safe space for trans men anymore.”

The thing is, I’ve been that guy.. Angry, uncomfortable, & projecting my own shit onto other ppl. But I wasn’t going to apologize for sharing my experience. Instead, I channeled that energy into something productive.

I sketched a cat, wrote “Pussyboy” beside it, & had it printed on a shirt. At first, just for me. But when people started asking where they could get one, Pussyboy Apparel was born.

This brand isn’t about staying in anyone’s comfort zone. It’s about taking the things that scare us—words, ideas, parts of ourselves—& facing them head on. Pussyboy is here to challenge, to celebrate, & to unapologetically own what it means to be transmasculine in all its complicated glory.
